Job Description
  • Provide day to day management of all dispute-related activity on behalf of the credit department, improving turnaround times and reducing the value of disputed debt
  • Engage with the Sales and Customer Service teams, plus business partners and clients to resolve disputes
  • Achieve excellent customer service through consistent delivery of standard operating processes, striving to be best in class, adding value through continuous improvement, ensuring resolution of escalated issues
  • Deliver accurate and timely financial and management reporting
  • Ensure all actions relating to credit control; calls/payment promises/disputes are recorded on our CRM

Ensure that the credit department’s standard operation processes are fully documented and maintained

  • Post and allocate bank/cheque and credit card payments.
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Previous experience in a Credit Control position • Full knowledge of Sales Ledger • AAT or ICM Qualified • Well organised and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet challenging targets and deadlines • Good influencing skills on the phone • Good attention to detail and accuracy
