Credit Controller

Job Description
Provide day to day management of all dispute-related activity on behalf of the credit department, improving turnaround times and reducing the value of disputed debt
Engage with the Sales and Customer Service teams, plus business partners and clients to resolve disputes
Achieve excellent customer service through consistent delivery of standard operating processes, striving to be best in class, adding value through continuous improvement, ensuring resolution of escalated issues
Deliver accurate and timely financial and management reporting
Ensure all actions relating to credit control; calls/payment promises/disputes are recorded on our CRM
Ensure that the credit department’s standard operation processes are fully documented and maintained
Post and allocate bank/cheque and credit card payments.
Reconciliation of bank accounts.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Previous experience in a Credit Control position • Full knowledge of Sales Ledger • AAT or ICM Qualified • Well organised and the ability to prioritise tasks to meet challenging targets and deadlines • Good influencing skills on the phone • Good attention to detail and accuracy
