The successful candidate will likely have the following responsibilities;
Preparation of monthly management accounts for review by the Financial Controller, including liaising with overseas teams to ensure timely and accurate data recorded.
Collating and reviewing monthly payroll data in conjunction with third party payroll functions in the UK and France, and ensuring timely submission of PAYE payments
Arranging monthly payments to overseas agents and employees
Processing supplier invoices and arranging BACS payment runs
Raising internal sales invoices
Cash management: maintain cash flow and forecast for financial year
Maintaining fixed asset schedules
Processing Monthly journals, including preparation of accruals and prepayments
Arranging extensive overseas business trips, including booking flights/trains, hotels, airport transfers and where necessary managing the process to obtain any necessary visas
Provide HR support as required, such as employment contracts, managing holiday register and sickness absence
Preparing and reviewing quarterly VAT returns
Reviewing, processing and making payment of monthly employee cash and credit card expenses to ensure approval of spending and accurate allocation to finance software
Preparing annual budget schedules
Day to day administration support to the team as required
