Job Description

As the Junior Financial Accountant you will support the Financial Accountant and Financial Controller with completing monthly financial reporting and balance sheet reconciliations.

The role is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract and will be based at home until at least the end of March. At this point you will be working from their office in Farringdon. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible and so ideally applicants will be immediately available.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Reconciling and arranging intercompany payments
• Assisting with AP and AR functions to reconcile and allocate transactions and post journals
• Monthly analysis of overheads, comparing actuals to estimates
• Reconciliations of intercompany accounts
• Assisting with WIP and close out review process
• Preparing reporting schedules for year-end accounts and assisting with year-end statutory audit
• Assisting with weekly payment runs and intercompany payments

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Immediately Available Part-Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent Experience using Microsoft Dynamics Navision or similar Excellent Excel skills (an Excel test will be part of application process) Ability to problem solve and improve processes
