The successful candidate will be required to provide Senior Administrative support and leadership within the Dangerous Goods team, whose purpose is to deliver examination and licensing services on behalf of external commercial client organizations, aimed at candidates seeking industry specific or professional qualifications or organizations which require the registration of qualifications and individuals requiring a license to practice. In order to do this you must be able to demonstrate experience in the following specific duties:
Manage the planning, implementation, monitoring and control of projects, processes and procedures across a specific contract to deliver an efficient and effective service while working to strict KPIs.
Control and monitor the allocation of resources within a specific area of an operational function ensuring compliance with policy and aligned to the overall business area’s operational plan.
Supervise, motivate and support a team of staff, recruit new staff and participate in performance management activities throughout the year.
Co-ordinate payments to third parties dealing with relevant queries and identifying and implementing cost efficiencies in line with budget expectations.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Additionally you must be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience: Be able to operate desk top packages and business systems at the appropriate level for this role. Be able to operate specialist IT systems relevant to this role. Be able to understand and carry out complex numerical and or financial calculations and analyze data. Applicants, as a minimum, should be educated to SCQF Level 6 (Higher/SVQ 3) and/or be able to demonstrate direct relevant experience for this role.
