We are seeking to appoint an individual with previous experience of working in a demanding and challenging PA, Team Secretary or Administrative Officer role together with an understanding of the NHS or a large and complex multisite organization within the Public or Private sector. Joining an established team of PA's, you will manage a fast paced, unpredictable workload with professionalism and above all demonstrate through experience a sound understanding of the need for discretion and diplomacy in a confidential setting.
This role requires the ability to be flexible, excellent organizational and communication skills, and a high level of experience in minute taking at a senior level.
The hours of this post will be worked across core office hours Monday to Friday.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successfully appointed candidate will be expected to undertake all aspects of secretarial/administrative support and have a high level of competency in using Microsoft Office. In this key role you will have the opportunity to support Executive Directors and Senior Managers across a wide portfolio of high profile and critical work programmes requiring an ability to work collaborative both internally and externally to the organization. A proven track record of working at Senior Management/Board level in a busy organization where competing priorities are a daily challenge is essential. Applications are welcome from those who have a recognized qualification in Administration equivalent to HNC in Secretarial Studies or Business Administration, or SVQ in Administration at Level 3, or significant relevant equivalent experience. It is essential that the post-hold can demonstrate a high degree of organizational ability, minute taking experience and excellent written and oral communication skills.
