The post holder will report to the Directorate Support Manager, and will support the wider Directorate Team with the operational management of administrative and clerical staff and business and waiting times support to clinical specialties within the Directorate. The post holder will also provide support to other areas of work identified as a priority within the Directorate.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The role requires an individual with demonstrable experience of staff management; a comprehensive knowledge of IT systems, including Trakcare; and an understanding of waiting times targets. Excellent organizational and communication skills are necessary for this role as is a flexible approach and an ability to work to tight deadlines. The successful candidate will be able to adapt quickly to new ways of working and changing priorities and contribute to ongoing service development and process improvement.
