Key Responsibilities:
- Collect mail from DX in the morning
- Open, sort and hand mail to directors
- Open, sort and hand royal mail to directors
- Cover the Reception desk responsibilities e.g. phones and incoming emails on allocated time schedules as and when required
- Take banking and deposit to RBS
- Record all recorded deliveries into the designated GPO book prior to going to Post Office
- Take any recorded deliveries at 3 o’clock to the Post Office
- Collect mail from staff and distribute accordingly to permitted directors for signing prior to get ready for mailing
- Organize the mail into DX/LP and royal mail bundles
- Organize payment on line for royal mail and take to Post Office
- Take DX/LP to George Square
- Basic clerical tasks such as scanning, photocopying, making and receiving phone calls and fielding correspondence
- Retrieve titles/files from storage
- Close files on Law ware (client management system) and organize into boxes ready to be placed into storage
- Take urgent deliveries from staff and deliver externally
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements
Additional Information:
- Monday - Friday
- 8:30am - 17:30 (40 hours but may be reduced to 35)
- NMW for your age
- 20 days holidays plus 11 statutory days
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ambitions to work within an administration orientated position with a strong work ethic. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Good time management. Strong computer skills. High level attention to detail and accuracy.
