Job Description

You will do this whilst being supported by your manager and our learning provider and the successful applicant/s will work in either our Stratford or Watford offices. We work to demanding, but achievable targets in a busy environment.

  • Create and update records on in house case management systems accurately, ensuring outstanding tasks are dealt with promptly and within set deadlines.
  • Complete initial actions on investigations and provide first level analysis of data which may include HMRC ledgers and bank statements
  • Review and manage team mailboxes dealing with queries. Referring as appropriate where a more detailed response is demanded.
  • Provide excellent customer service in both written and telephone contact to both our internal and external customers.
  • Manage your time effectively, to enable your team to deliver its targets and other key priorities.

The responsibilities of the role are to support and engage with different parts of the organisation and interact with internal or external customers. With a focus on adding value, Business Administrators contribute to the efficiency of our organisation, through support of functional areas, working across teams and resolving issues as requested. The flexibility and responsiveness required allows the apprentice to develop a wide range of skills. To be successful you will need to understand the commitment needed to complete an apprenticeship, have a motivation for learning, excellent organisational skills and good time management. You should be resilient and able to learn from experience. Through your ability to think ahead and your eye for detail, you will be able to anticipate problems and have excellent problem-solving skills. You can work as part of a team to achieve a team goal and can organise and prioritise your own work and tasks to meet tight targets and deadlines. You should have the ability to work unsupervised and take initiative. You must have effective and easy to understand communication skills (written and verbal), in a variety of situations. You must have good IT skills, particularly in the use of MS Office applications (Outlook, Word & Excel), and an ability to quickly learn in-house systems such as ISCIS and Cyclops.
