Job Description
You will hold responsibility for management accounting within the business and oversee 2-3 reports. The role will provide exposure to senior stakeholders and also the opportunity for involvement in analysis and integration of potential acquisition targets.
Duties will include;
- Completion of the monthly management accounts
- Produce board packs for monthly management meetings
- Reconciliation of balance sheets at month end
- Produce and post monthly journals
- Assist with potential acquisition analysis and subsequent integration projects
- Maintain the company fixed asset register
- Prepare information for annual corporation tax schedules
- Produce monthly and quarterly VAT returns/reconciliations
- Assist with budget preparation
- Assist with statutory audits and audit information
- Responsible for managing the operation of the pension scheme
- Manage a small finance team of 2-3
