Job Description

The primary function is to maintain a rolling programme of patient diagnostic pathway by means of booking all complex and non-complex sleep studies, reviewing appointment outcomes and progress with care plans, further to this the role is to ensure that next steps relating to planned clinical and administrative actions are in place and communicated to patients. The post provides administrative support to the wider multidisciplinary team, including medical, nursing and administrative colleagues.
We are looking for a friendly, approachable and highly motivated individual to conduct the business of the reception area in a calm and professional manner; communicating effectively with patients, clinical team and other staff to promote the best environment for the efficient running of the service, dedicated to delivering excellent patient experience, who are comfortable working in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
This is a busy and demanding role and we require a proactive and confident person to fill the post. Good communication skills are essential, as you will be working closely with administrative and clinical staff to support the Sleep Centre Team to manage its critical access targets relating to 18 weeks and 6 weeks target.
