Job Description

The Operations Coordinator is a core member of the Sector Management Team (SMT). You will deal with others in the wider organizational sense, and those external contracts that have regular contact with senior managers, and have an important role in projecting a positive and professional image of the service. You will directly manage a range of administrative and clerical staff members ranging in bands two to four. These staff provide support to the SMT, nursing and medical staff, allied health professionals and other administrative staff within the in-patient service.

The Operations Coordinator has corporate financial responsibility to assist the Sector in achieving its financial targets. Have a working knowledge of IT systems, associated equipment and software packages, and make effective use of this.

The shift pattern is; Monday – Friday 9.00 – 5.00


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You should be educated to degree level, with at least five years management experience within a large complex organization. Preferably the NHS or public sector. Have experience of managing and setting budgets within a similar organizational setting and have excellent planning and organizational skills.
