Job Description

Your new role

Your key duties will involve entering the accounts data onto Sage 50, assisting in processing the monthly accounts including VAT returns, reconciling supplier and customer accounts to the ledger, creating supplier payments and producing sales invoices. You will investigate any accounting anomalies and resolve finance queries along with processing monthly payroll for the company including contracts of employment for new starters. You will be involved in purchase ledger and sales ledger processing, bookkeeping processes and ad-hoc financial support/administration for the team and business. There is an opportunity to take on further duties as the business grows further if wanted and really add value.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this varied and permanent Part-time Accounts Administrator position you will have experience within a similar role, previous experience of purchase and sales ledger processing with high attention to detail and the ability to manage work-loads to meet deadlines. You will have key MS Excel skills, strong communication skills and be trained in a range of financial systems. Ideally you will be AAT level 3 qualified, working towards completion of your AAT or qualified by experience. It would be advantageous but not essential if you have experience with Sage 50 packages and payroll processing knowledge.
