Job Description

We are looking for an Administrative assistant, someone who is highly motivated and has the ability to use their initiative to complete tasks. They will assist the office administrator in various tasks. The ideal person will be organized, honest and reliable, and be able to work as part of a small team. Someone who has a willingness to learn, we are willing to support them through learning and development opportunities.

Some of the tasks that will be involved daily, although are not limited to :

  • Manage emails and all office correspondence
  • Provide excellent customer service to a diverse range of customers and employers
  • Data entry and management - running reports and managing contracts
  • Contact suppliers/ staff
  • Organize Travel plans, accommodation and appointments for management
  • Manage agendas
  • Deal with invoicing and pay systems

There will be opportunity to upskill and advance within the company through time.

Hours : Start 8:30 -17:00 (37.5-hour week )

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Social distance measures in the office as well as some staff working from home. There will be no direct contacts with clients just now

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have/be: Strong interest in IT with knowledge of Microsoft Office. Good telephone skills. Excellent interpersonal skills - to deal with customers and external contacts. Good organizational skills and ability to work to and sometimes implement own processes. Training for the Xero system will be made available.
