As our Buyer you will procure the materials and plant to the Company's exact requirements, ensuring goods are delivered on the required date and purchased at the most competitive rates.
As our Admin Support you will conduct general office administration including answering incoming calls, deal with onsite paperwork to ensure all required information is being obtain by our operatives.
You will be the first point of contact for our operations Departments to conduct the following;
Place orders with suitable suppliers for specified materials.
Answering calls from subcontractors / suppliers / employees/ clients
Encourage and develop wherever feasible negotiated agreements with supplier and manufacturers.
Send out enquiries for appropriate materials, collate and analyze quotations.
Inform other departments of all relevant information regarding changes in materials, major price movements, delivery lead times and individual supply situations.
Analyze purchase orders, experience of excel
Collating information for regional monthly reports
Resolve any discrepancies that may arise between orders, goods received and invoices. Also make decision on this account and authorize payments.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure whilst maintaining commercial awareness.
Liaise with other departments and disciplines to establish or improve supplier and inter-department relations

· A proven background in a purchasing role · Ability to build productive stakeholder relationships · Ability to communicate well with individuals at all levels · Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver quality work on time, within budget · Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously · Strong written communication skills · Strong numeric and analytical skills · Thorough, with strong attention to detail · Proficient in MS Office packages, experience using Sage Construct software is desirable
