Job Description
This is a demanding role that will provide excellent opportunities as the company grows.
You will need to have an attention for detail, be proactive, commercially aware, meet deadlines, liaise with people at all levels, work accurately, take responsibility & ownership and respect confidentiality of the staff, the organization and its clients.
Main Responsibilities are
- Ensure submitted timesheets are correct, within budget and submitted in a timely manner
- Arrange payment of staff through the computerized payroll system
- Process new starts & leavers
- Provide advice to staff in relation to pay, taxation & national insurance
- Ensure that statutory and voluntary deductions are adhered to, eg Maternity, Paternity, Sick pay
- Assist in preparation with payroll records & reports
- Investigate & resolve payroll queries & problems
