Qualified or QBE Practice Accountant, South Liverpool

Description:

A modern firm of accountants based in South Liverpool is looking to recruit an ACA / ACCA Qualified or experienced QBE Practice Accountant to join their professional and friendly team.

Reporting directly to the Partner, you will take responsibility for a portfolio of owner managed businesses, predominantly limited companies between £50k to £5m turnover, across a range of industry sectors.

You will be the first point of contact for the clients, dealing with day to day queries alongside ensuring all compliance work is completed to a high standard and to deadline.

Responsibilities include:

·Year end accounts production
·Quarterly VAT returns
·Self-assessment tax returns
·Monthly Payroll
·CIS returns
·Dealing with ad-hoc queries
·Managing the workflow for junior team members

Benefits:
Salary is negotiable dependent on experience up to £35,000. Additional benefits include 35-hour week, free parking, modern working environment, paperless office, friendly team, supported professional development.

Essential Requirements:
·A wealth of accounts preparation and taxation experience, gained from general practice
·Good IT skills and knowledge of a variety of accounting packages including and Xero
·Confident and professional manner - ability to work face to face with clients from Day One.
