Job Description

Delivering technical change and providing support across our industry leading Salesforce CRM platform, including our global suite of websites and applications, you will play a key role in supporting the global family as we strive to become more self-sufficient in our digital and IT initiatives. Reporting to our IT Applications Lead, your key duties will include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of application roadmaps in line with overall global IT strategy;
  • Working with Product Owners – CRM and Digital to define and understand requirements;
  • Taking business requirements and supporting the design of Salesforce solutions by leveraging the native capabilities of the platform with minimum custom coding;
  • Producing technical documentation and functional specifications for custom implementations where required;
  • Supporting the technical delivery of custom development, integration and data migration elements within the Salesforce environment and ensuring that any code developed is technically sound;
  • Working with QA and business test teams for assurance and defect management.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Degree qualified or equivalent, you will bring proven experience of Salesforce development & administration and have real desire to develop yourself and your technical skills. Experience of working on Salesforce development projects is essential and you will also have experience of working in an Agile scrum and test-driven environment. Exposure of multiple components of the Salesforce Lightning Platform, configuration experience is desirable; Strong communication skills, with the ability to work as part of a project team and work directly with users; Experience of process automation, security configuration, data model creation, reports and dashboards creation, communities and Force.com sites; and A passion for web technologies and a strong understanding of Salesforce best practice.
