Job Description

Our client is a Top tier Developer and are now in a stage of growth, with the need for a Project Manager of the South Yorkshire and Derbyshire area on their housing and associated infrastructure projects.

As the Project Manager you will have day to day control of the site, management and delivery of the project work.
This organisation are looking for someone who is looking to progress their career, you may be currently working as a Senior Site Manager and looking for your next move. You must be keen and enthusiastic and be willing to go the extra mile.
 

You will be:

• Responsible for the safety and welfare of the site and those on it.
• Responsibility for the successful completion of the section of works/overall project and to lead by example in all that they do, managing the day to day delivery of construction projects; quality, time, procurement, contractors.
• Managing sub-contractors, including monitoring of contractor attendance and progress; provide direct instruction and support as necessary such that contractual arrangements are achieved.
• Producing and reviewing short term programmes.
• Responsible for ensuring that detailed plans in place to for material/resources/supply chain to be delivered to meet scheduled deadlines.
• Liaising with Contract Manager & QS to ensure that they are fully aware of project progress and are notified of all financial, specification and time risks ensuring that all additional work is identified.
