The roles and responsibilities within this post will be far ranging and you will be encouraged to develop your accounting skills with learning and development being at the forefront of our clients agenda. Typically, on a day-to-day basis, you can expect to have full autonomy for the management of the purchase and sales ledger. You will be involved in assisting the controller in the production of management reports and will be responsible for accruing balances for future payments as well as allocating pre-payments into the relevant accounting period.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Our client uses the software Kerridge and as such it would be highly beneficial if applicants had exposure to this system. Active ACCA/CIMA applications are encouraged, however if you have worked in an automotive business and have stopped studying, you may still be considered. Ideally our client is seeking an applicant who is locally based to the workplace. Candidates will need to be self-starting, proactive in nature and have the ability to priorities time conflicting tasks. Candidates will be expected to work onsite where possible although working from home could become more common place given the current lockdown restrictions.
