Job Description

The purpose of this role is to assist the Senior Business Partner in their role of ensuring that all contract-related activities are performed accurately and on a timely basis, assisting them in being able to support the wider business in their need for relevant commercial analysis and cost management.

As part of this support, you will take ownership of producing various recurring procedures such as customer invoicing and internally-distributed financial information.

Duties as our Assistant Finance Business Partner will involve:

  • Production of customer invoicing & resolution of invoice queries.
  • Production of monthly Business Review Meeting packs.
  • Periodic analysis of key cost captions and other KPIs.
  • Assistance with reporting, quarterly re forecasting, budgeting and overhead management.
  • Consolidation & distribution of headcount forecast data.
  • Production of monthly performance reporting for both shareholders and customers.
  • Support Management Accounting function with accruals & prepayment calculations as required (cover)

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Part Qualified Accountant, focus on CPD and progressing with accountancy qualifications. Previous experience working in a similar role. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. High levels of motivation, flexibility and the ability to work on own initiative with a drive for excellence and attention to detail.
