Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Sole Payroll & Reconditions Officer to join their small and friendly team
Duties include;
- To maintain at all times the highest level of confidentiality when dealing with payroll issues on a sole basis
- To receive email alerts from HMRC and access HMRC website to make changes to tax codes, student loan deductions, etc
- To print all reports and pay advices
- To prepare the salaries and allowances BACS submission
- To envelope and distribute pay advices
- To prepare schedules for various payments and arrange the monthly payment
- To prepare and reconcile monthly costings for payroll and give the journal to the finance department for input to the accounting software
- To reconcile HMRC monthly payment of PAYE and National Insurance contributions (NICs) and arrange payment of funds to HMRC
- To oversee administration of Child Care voucher for employees
- To assist 'leavers' in the completion of forms and produce P45 documents
- To maintain the filing system of all documents relating to payroll
- To carry out HMRC Year End processes for all aspects of payroll including preparation and submission of P11D forms
- To maintain and update the Payroll procedures manual
- To undertake any other duties, as required
