The successful payroll assistant will be responsible for the following duties:
Assisting the payroll team with the preparation of the high volume monthly payroll
Processing sickness's and absences to ensure that the employee's pay is calculated accurately and on time
The role of payroll assistant will be on a 6 month contract basis with the possibility of becoming a permanent role once the contract ends.
You must be immediately available or be on a short notice period to be considered for this role.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
To be considered for this role, you must have great written and verbal skills as you will be required to communicate with employees and the wider business directly. You must also have excellent attention to detail and the ability to hit the ground running with the openness to take on new challenges.
