Job Description

The Education and Training Foundation (ETF) helps ensure that the Further Education and Training sector develops world class leaders, teachers and trainers. We work across the whole FE sector and are funded by Government grant, commercial contracts, professional membership (The Society for Education and Training - SET) and accreditation fees and a variety of other business activities.

We are now looking to appoint an Executive Administrator who will:

The role will report into the Office Manager & Governance Officer and will be responsible in leading administrative support on projects generated by the Governance and Business Processes team as designated.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be educated to Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service.
  • Substantial experience of working in an office environment.
  • Excellent administrative skills and good IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages.
  • Experience of communicating and organising with a variety of staff.
  • Ability to provide financial administrative support, including raising POs and processing invoices for payment.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and work effectively across teams and with a variety of people both inside and outside the organisation.
  • A high standard of interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to show sensitivity and tact in dealing with confidential matters.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise work appropriately.
  • Ability to work autonomously using own initiative.
