What will you be doing?

• Collaborating with team members to analyze the requirements for systems migrating to a new cloud-based environment (Amazon Web Service Training will be provided)
• You’ll be building and maintaining the next generation monitoring tools for Reference Data systems focusing on intelligent alerting with a business context
• Identifying and implement continuous service improvements to exceed business expectations
• Delivering automation solutions to eliminate recurring manual activities from the environment
• Implementing the delivery of high profile market events such as Options Expiry, Russell Rebalance, Disaster Recovery Testing, & large-scale application upgrades / migrations
• Developing technical knowledge of the applications and the businesses they support to provide an efficient service as part of a global team

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

What we’re looking for: Ability to diagnose and address technical failures. Technical knowledge of databases, middleware, servers and batches. Experienced in both hardware and software support. Experienced in setting up and maintenance of monitoring tools. Passionate about learning and building Subject Matter Expertise in business specific applications. Experience with the Software Development Lifecycle. Experience of collaborating with others to solve technical problems. Knowledge of Financial Markets and trade lifecycles.
