Job Description

Our market leading manufacturer is now seeking a financial controller to join the leadership team for an autonomous business unit Reporting directly to the MD (with dotted line to global Group CFO) you will be comfortable with the responsibility for all financial reporting, control and planning and play a key role in achieving the strategic objectives in this dynamic fast paced business.

You will have day to day responsibility for all aspects of finance for the business unit including:-

• Timely and accurate financial, statutory and management reporting to Divisional and Global Management
• Ensure that proper procedures, polices and controls are in place safeguarding all group assets
• Take a lead role in the achievement of strategic objectives through the provision of in depth financial analysis to aid commercial decision making, make recommendations and proactively contribute to the decision making process.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

We are now seeking a qualified accountant with a good understanding and ideally some experience of financial control and management accounting in a manufacturing environment.
