Job Description

The Financial Accountant will support the Head of Financial Services in the preparation of statutory accounts and related returns for the College. The post-holder will be involved in the preparation of monthly management accounts, budget analysis, forecasting and financial reporting.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The post-holder will also support budget holders to monitor the spend and achieve their budget targets. You will be CCAB or CIMA qualified and have experience within a complex financial environment. Experience of monitoring risk and controls within a complex finance service function and evidence of developing innovative solutions to achieve organizational objectives are essential. A comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, and the ability to analyze large volumes of data are also essential for the role. You will have a driving license or ability to travel, as required, across the region.
