As a Financial Project Assistant you will be accountable to ensure the effective analysis of financial data by collecting, monitoring, creating financial budgets, models and forecasts for projects and programs.
The role of Financial Project Assistant will also see you provide timely, relevant and accurate reporting & analysis of the financial results of the project or program against historical, budgeted and forecasted results to facilitate decision-making toward the achievement of the budget.
Work with Project Management and Clinical Supply Management team to capture all hours on projects and to capture total cost of ongoing project.
Partner with Project Management team to review out of scope activities and assess whether QARs are complete, accurate, and forward looking so that they can send to customers before execution when possible;
Analyze alternative options (financially) for presentation to client. Liaises with operational teams (local and global to ensure projects are completed in the most efficient way possible for the client).
Assist Project Managers in forecasting total project costs (and monthly phasing) to the customer’s needs and expectation.
Develop templates for projects and educate client so that they understand current costs and projected costs
Provide regular and ad hoc analysis to support project and financial decision-making processes
Engage with client financial representative and project team to proactively answer billing questions and assist with timely accounts receivable collection.
Support to the financial analyst by providing detailed analysis and insight that links financial reports to business strategies
To independently conduct internal monthly review meetings with budget holders and to act as a key point of contact to support them
Monthly presentation of financial performance, full year forecasts and budget variances

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting 1+ years analyst experience within a similar role preferable Healthcare/Pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience preferable. Must be well-experienced with Microsoft suite of products, especially Excel and Power Point. Ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of data. Financial modeling expertise preferable. Attentive to detail with strong logical structuring, written communication, organizational and time management skills.
