Job Description

My client is undergoing a strategic transformation program and as part of this is looking for a talented finance BA to support, review and assist with the redesign the finance and accounting business processes, in response to changes in technology. You must have worked on complex finance transformation projects in particular, there will be a need to focus on sub-ledger and GL transaction reconciliations. You must be able to liaise with the business, stakeholders and the technical and testing teams ensuring requirements are full understood.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Preferably, experience of finance reconciliations in either a project delivery capacity or Finance Operations (sub-ledger and GL transaction reconciliations). Experience of working with large scale systems replacements, particularly ERP such as Oracle, SAP etc., Reconciliation tools such as Autorek and Frontier and Reporting tools such as Tableau. Experience of modelling business processes using a variety of tools and techniques. Finance and Accounting process experience preferred. Understanding of delivering large IT Programmes in a multi-region / cross-functional stakeholder environment. The ability to assess data and processes for areas of improvement and changes necessary to implement the new technology aligned to the business strategy and reshape the business. Provide input and direction on design decisions with focus on maximizing the new technology for the benefit of both the internal organization and external customers. Training and guides: Create and maintain the business architecture knowledgebase, connecting between customer journeys, business processes, and system applications. Experience working within a PMO governance framework.
