This is an excellent opportunity for a Service Accountant to embark onto the organisation and join a successful team and be responsible for customer focused management accounting environment.
Key responsibilities:
* Experience working with budget holders, providing a high quality of service to the clients.
* To have an understanding of local government finances and services.
* To be confident working alone, and taking initiative. But also making the judgement to ask for help, refer problems and ask for guidance.
* Strong experience of cost centre management across budget setting, monitoring and account closing - both capital and revenue.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Fully qualified AAT or part qualified CCAB * Or experience of working in an accounting environment within a large organisation * Advanced spreadsheet skills. * It is essential that the candidate's last role or current role is within Local Government.
