Job Description

• Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, and be accountable to the Executive leadership team of the Last Mile Group
• Deliver monthly consolidated management accounts and reporting to both the Executive team and the Last Mile shareholder, Infracapital, alongside periodic reporting on Group finance matters.
• Oversight and control of the group treasury process, including external lender communications, covenant monitoring, review and monitoring of financial instruments and group cash flow review and forecasting.
• Challenge monthly management reporting from subsidiaries to provide insight and analysis on the Group consolidated numbers.
• Ownership of the external audit and group budgeting processes.
• Oversight of all Group tax matters.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess: Qualified accountant (CA, ACCA or CIMA) with at least 3 to 4 years PQE. Excellent communication skills and a positive, ‘can do’ attitude. Ability to juggle multiple priorities while remaining in control of day to day requirements. Experience of managing a small team. Confidence to interact with Executive team and shareholder directly. Demonstrate passion and enthusiasm, while displaying accuracy and attention to detail. Strong technical accounting knowledge. Experience: PQE Accounting: 3 years (preferred)
