Job Description

My client is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to take the lead of the Finance function (including AP, AR, Management Accounts, etc.)

You should be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified and have worked within a multi-currency environment, as my client has presence across the UK & Europe.

You'll ideally have experience working with Sage, SAP and Microsoft Dynamics (D365) to help the business with their current systems migration.

This full time, permanent role is located in central Glasgow however there are plenty of options for remote / working from home

You will be responsible for all Accounting processes including month and year end processes, statutory accounts, balance sheet recs, year end audit,

The nature of this manufacturing / retail / wholesale business means you'll regularly work with other business units on pricing, forecasting, costing, cross-charging, etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

You'll ensure compliance to all Accounting policies, corporate guidelines, plus relevant legislation / regulations e.g. IFRS, GAAP. You should be confident working within a Group reporting structure e.g. an organizations with different entities, subsidiaries / a presence across UK & EMEA.
