Payroll Manager currently looking for an experienced Payroll Manager to join an established team. Must have previous Management experience and experience with local government or teachers pensions.
The individual will be responsible for:
Preparing and paying salaries and bursaries.
Reporting to HMRC
Improve systems and procedures.
Provide leadership and customer service on payroll related matters both internally and externally.
Acting as the first contact for internal and external auditors in relation to payroll matters.
Manage and develop a team
The role is currently working remotely from home due to COVID but will be based out of the Glasgow site once back in the office.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
The successful candidate will have experience working with either local government or teachers pensions. A recognized payroll qualification would be an advantage but not essential.
