Job Description

• Acting as a Functions Technology Risk and Control Subject Matter Expert, working with stakeholders across the three lines of defense to ensure that activities and duties are coordinated
• Driving adherence of Barclays Policies and Standards across a wide range of technical and business teams, systems and services
• Streamlining processes across sub-functional teams to mature consistent and sustainable practice, identifying ways to create capacity through simplification, automation or centralization
• Acting as Point of Contact and maintaining regular and ongoing interaction with Barclays Internal Audit, External Auditors and Assurance colleagues on audit/assurance plans
• Providing robust, effective and insightful reporting, analysis and communication
• Deputizing for Functions Technology Risk and Control management

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

What we’re looking for: Relevant industry experience with strong background in risk management, Governance and/or related oversight, intelligence, investigations, technology and/or operations. Experience of the global regulatory landscape with exposure to Legal/Compliance matters. In depth experience in operational Risk and Controls and Issue/Risk Management and/or Assurance/Audit in a highly regulated business environment. Experience of Technical, Cyber, and Data Quality and Integrity controls components. Ideally candidate will already be working in a Vice President level role.
