Job Description
- Plan, budget, manage and participate in risk- based audits. Assign tasks, scope the assignment, lead execution, and communicate the risk-based work plan. Agree findings and raise concerns where required.
- Evaluate and document audit results in line with the internal needs, Global and local IA standards.
- Analyze and prepare reports for the UK Senior Management Team.
- Mentor and develop auditors, make practical recommendations for improvement. Resolve more advanced, complex audit queries and issues, including those raised by the team.
- Provide performance feedback to all auditors, provide advice and leadership to mitigate the risk where necessary.
- You will have an anticipated travel of up to 40% across the UK with potential for international travel.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong UK financial experience and a deep knowledge of the full audit process within financial services would be of huge advantage. Relevant experience gained within a similar role, preferably within insurance, brokerage useful. Able to mentor, lead and develop those around you; sharing standard methodologies and ideals. Ambitious towards deadlines, keen on quality with a high attention to detail. Eligible to work in the UK.
