Job Description

Responsible for the calibration, testing, servicing and repair of tooling and equipment ensuring that these items are calibrated correctly in line with relevant standards

Management and maintenance of the Calibration Database and the distribution of the Tooling and Equipment Recall Report to all relevant stakeholders

Responsible for the arrangement and coordination of Calibration by External Service Providers (in-house and outsourced)

Production of certification / records and the management and filing of external certification

Monitoring and reporting of External Service Provider KPI's in order to drive improvement

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Provide knowledge and support of delivering quality improvement. Knowledge of Quality tools and techniques. Knowledge, particularly within the areas of mechanical tooling and equipment, quality assurance, product assurance, quality management and third party management. Knowledge of management systems, including ISO9001, 17025 testing and calibration laboratories and their application to projects equipment. Internal auditor qualified (desirable).
