Job Description
Ensure Environmental Health and Safety is in accordance with company policy at all times
Assist in ensuring a high level of visibility of Environmental Health and Safety throughout the Company
Ensure that the processes needed for the EMS are established, documented, implemented and maintained as required
Preparation and issuing of documentation as required in relation to the EMS
Provide advice and support as required to ensure adherence full compliance of the requirement to support the EMS
Audit, analyze and report environmental performance to Environmental Health & Safety Manager
Keep up to date with changing standards, processes, and techniques with special reference to EMS
Control of document review and changes as required
Control of records review and changes as required
Maintenance of archived documents
Develop Training of Associates as required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
IEMA certificate in environmental management. ISO14001 Auditor qualified. ISO45001 desirable. Experience in a similar role essential. Thorough knowledge of Environmental Management Systems, Environmental legislation & best practice. Excellent facilitation, coordination, prioritization, presentation and communication skills. Proven ability to manage and priorities workload, meet deadlines and work in a pressurized environment. Competence in the use of IT technology, such as Microsoft Office applications, and ability to learn other IT systems used in the business. Must be able to work cross-functionally, lead cross-functional teams and be able to lead change and improvement initiatives for products and processes. Must be able to influence change with objective information and well-structured communications. Must be able to communicate at all levels across the business.
