Job Description

As a Payroll Supervisor your primary responsibilities will be to process monthly payroll while managing workload within the team, including full end to end process and BACS payments. You will also process expense payments runs while managing and report on pension contributions.

You will coordinate and attend monthly HR / Payroll reviews and have further responsibility to coordinate and manage payroll system upgrade. You should be aware of and understand the departmental and business targets, and the role that you play in their delivery.

This fixed term contract position would require you to manage your workload effectively while maintaining key stakeholder relationships throughout the business with key direct communication as a Payroll Supervisor with the Financial Controller, Head of Financial Planning and Analysis and internal and external Auditors.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
For this position as a Payroll Supervisor you will work within a small team so excellent attention detail is necessary, along with strong Excel skills and experience of manual tax calculations. We expect you to have at least 2 years previous payroll experience. Good attention to detail is essential for the post of Payroll Supervisor, along with excellent organizational and effective communication skills. You should be approachable and trustworthy while being able to have good situational adaptability.
