Job Description

Insurer in the city require support within their corporate accounts team as they approach a busy time.

Core duties will include

• Manage the month end close process, including cashbooks, expenses, intercompany reconciliations and journals
• Preparation of statutory accounts for their entities
• preparation of VAT returns and any regulatory returns including RMAR
• supporting the consolidation process
• prepare the quarterly audit files

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

They require an experienced and self motivated accountant who is used to working in an insurance company. You will have a strong mix of financial and management accountant who is happy to get hands on and support the senior finance team with all aspects of accounts.
