A client of ours have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join their rapidly growing, global semiconductor client, based in in Newport, South Wales.

As a Financial Accountant, Newport, South Wales you will be working on the forefront of technology in the Photonics field for a global client who are producing game changing products across the industry.

The Financial Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the European entities and providing a robust and perpetually improving management accounts process. This role will also have responsibility for key stakeholder reporting and collaboration, as well as preparation of entity specific government returns such as VAT and statistical. In addition, this role will assist the Director of Accounting and Senior Financial accountant in day to day management of cash flow, suppliers, and payroll functions. This role will also support the year end processes including audit & tax, R&D reclaim.
