Job Description

You will be responsible for managing and leading the secretarial and administration staff within Oral Health. You will work directly with the operational and clinical management team to achieve and maintain key performance indicators and all targets associated with delivery of a well performing administrative service. You will be responsible for day to day line management of secretarial and administrative staff within the departmental budget, including recruitment and selection, KSF Personal Development Planning & Review, performance management, attendance management, conduct, grievance and payroll administration. The hours of this post will be worked Monday to Friday.


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You should be educated to degree level, or have equivalent relevant experience and sound understanding of how to develop and manage a team on a day-to-day basis in accordance with NHSGG&C policies is required, as are influencing and negotiating skills.
