This post forms part of the administrative support team and provides comprehensive, administrative and secretarial support to the community mental health team. You will be an efficient administrator who contributes significantly to achievement of the role of the team through provision of a variety of administrative and secretarial roles. You will work independently for much of the time managing calls, emails, Rota and diaries. You will also support the generic functions and duties administered within the wider administrative support team. You will provide a high quality administrative and secretarial service to the community mental health/addictions teams. Your duties will include general typing of correspondence as required, including transcription of audio and you will manage diary commitments proficiently, to ensure good time management, as required. You will deal with telephone and face-to-face enquiries as received, providing information as required and direct and priorities enquiries as appropriate. You will receive visitors (including patients and members of the public) to the premises in a polite and helpful way in accordance with local procedures. The shift pattern for this post is 9am – 5pm; rotating Mon-Thurs one week and Tue-Fri the next week.
