Role: Management Accountant

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Our client is looking for an experienced and proactive candidate to join their finance team as a Management Accountant. The Management Accountant will be responsible for analysing financial data, budgeting and forecasting as well as taking responsibility for the monthly management accounts.

Main responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Prepare the monthly management accounts
• Design, implement and manage annual budget processes
• Train senior-level staff on budget management
• Perform financial modelling for business contracts
• Assist with month-end
• Hold monthly management account meetings with budget holders
• Provide support with internal and external audits
• Assist with other ad hoc financial reporting as and when required.

Ideal candidate for the Management Accountant role:

• Experience in financial management, budgeting and management accounting
• CIMA qualified
• Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Word and Excel
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail
• Highly organised, able to meet set deadlines and manage a busy workload
• Experience working at not for profit organisations is desirable
