Job Description
  • This is an opportunity to deliver the development and maintenance of Mentor’s new CRM and related existing IT systems
  • You’ll be working across all aspects of the IT development life cycle including analysis, design, development and testing
  • This role will provide you with a platform to keep building your technical knowledge and expertise, and offers you great exposure for you and your work

What you'll do

As a Dynamics Administrator, you’ll be working with your colleagues across the business to fully understand their business requirements and translate these requirements into potential IT solutions. You’ll be making sure that Mentor’s Dynamics solution is appropriately configured and customised, as well as available in line with business SLAs, while also ensuring the security and integrity of all bespoke IT systems.

You’ll also be delivering customer driven CRM development projects that enhance the business’s service capability and increase our capacity to service our clients, embracing the Agile development process and contributing to successful sprint planning.

Other key aspects of your role will involve:

  • Writing accurate and robust configurations and code which delivers solutions in line with business requirements
  • Working closely with the IT Tester to make sure that all code is fully tested ahead of deployment
  • Making sure that any reported bugs or issues within IT systems are fixed promptly, and completing documentation
  • Accurately estimating system requirements and keeping all appropriate documentation up to date throughout the project life cycle
  • Engaging and communicating with users at all stages of system development to make sure their requirements are being met

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
You'll have experience with us and integrating these solutions with other IT including bespoke in-house systems, as well as strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform and Azure. You’ll need significant experience of Dynamics 365 and power platform customization and configuration as well as web APIs and web services. It would also be useful if you have skills in C#, ASP.NET, JavaScript and Azure DevOps. In addition, you’ll need: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build relationships internally and externally and experience of dealing with key stakeholders at senior level. An excellent understanding of IT and surrounding issues including requirements gathering, end user analysis, and systems development in a Microsoft environment. A track record of successful developing systems against deadlines. The ability to translate business requirements into specific functional and technical requirements. Strong team working ability.
