Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Production of Monthly Management Accounts including monthly Board Pack
  • Quarterly Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • Monthly ledger housekeeping to ensure integrity of carrying values/balances
  • Weekly bank reconciliations including rolling 13 Week Cash Flow
  • Supervision of payment run batches for PL, S/C and staff expenses
  • Preparation and submission monthly VAT return
  • Production and submission of monthly CIS return
  • Management of an Accounts Assistant
  • Management of external accounts including mobile phone and company vehicles
  • Ensure efficiency and accuracy of purchase to pay process including purchase order, GRN and invoice matching
  • Assist with the production of the year end accounts and audit
  • Assist with yearly budget and Forecasts
  • Assist with the continuous improvement of new MS Dynamics ERP

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What you'll need: Experience of MS Dynamics (preferable). Relevant experience in leadership within a finance role. An accredited finance qualification (ACMA/ACCA) – Finalist or QBE will be considered. A strong focus on deadlines. Excellent analytical skills. The ability to integrate with and communicate effectively across departments. A determination to make a meaningful contribution to a growing business. The ability to adapt to an evolving workload. An ability to assist in team development. An ability to reengineer processes with a view to delivering efficiencies.
