Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Monitor and support the development by others of new projects
  • Oversee benchmarking, value for money and ultimately market testing procedures
  • Ensure QS support is provided to new projects.
  • Provide regular reports on progress to the Management Team, hubco Board, and others as required.
  • Maintain a register of upcoming and recent legislation, guidance and best practice to ensure that hubco and in turn the TPB is kept up to date and receives early warning of the implication of any changes to the framework which hubco operates within
  • Liaise closely with the hubco Operations Manager to ensure that schemes are prepared for the operational phase properly, and with due handover to the FM team.
  • Monitor the monthly payment notices and FM performance reports presented to the tenant
  • Work as part of the team delivering a number of schemes
  • Deputies for colleagues as and when required

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
What you’ll need: B.Sc. Hons in Quantity Surveying or equivalent. Education and work bias to the following sectors: business administration, facilities management, project management, surveying, architecture, engineering, construction, health. Experience of developing good working relationships with a wide range of internal and external bodies. Experience of preparation and submission of reports. Experience of making presentations. Proficient in computer software use including but not exclusive to: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, email.
