Job Description

You will Support the sales growth for us by ensuring we develop and present the capability credibly to customers and strategic target nations. You will develop the capability roadmaps to ensure that we can meet the customer requirements of the future. Define the route to extension of capabilities to complement the current submarine rescue systems and services. In terms of operational service capability – ensure that services are positioned for next generation of service contracts as well as providing a route to upgrades and securing new system contracts. Act as the champion internally for us for the capability area as well as global ambassador for the capability in the market.

Accountabilities

  • Set the capability growth strategies and tactics to achieve the sales forecast
  • Act as capability ambassador - Proactively engage with the defense community through meetings, attending and speaking at conferences, support of sales campaign efforts, events and where applicable agents or subcontractors.
  • Set the capability roadmap based on key defense stakeholder requirements globally
  • Influence and help inform defense customer capability at the highest levels.
  • Identify strategic programs to secure and help direct win themes and strategy.
  • Drive Campaign efforts to pull together capture planning, marketing and sales efforts. (Target nations, capability areas, resources, prices, route to market)
  • Review sales pipeline with Sales team regularly to ensure the success of the sales
  • Identify continuous updates on competitors and potential partners
  • Act as senior representative for the capability across company.
  • Identify market leading R&D opportunities and support the justification of internal business cases.
  • Be aware and compliant with the new business processes
  • Comply with all HSEQ requirements

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Recognized as an authority within capability area. Demonstrate knowledge of commercial / sales processes including tenders and bids. Proven track record. High level of commercial acumen. Provide clear leadership for capability line – well developed & executed campaign plans. Provide clear product/ systems and capability roadmap. Position to secure key strategic nation submarine Rescue capability contracts. Meet and/or exceed annual and quarterly targets. Meet expected gross margins across the portfolio. Identify new product/ system initiatives.
