Job Description

Our client a leader in chemical and agribusiness would like to recruit a Project Cost controller for their manufacturing site. This is a long term maternity cover and will manage Design Office including resource planning, procurement, cost settlement, cost reporting and IS systems to enhance productivity.

You will be involved closely in Project Cost Control by submitting monthly accounting journals for Design Contract charges and for general project activities. Manage Month End & Year End Cost process for the projects office. Collate accruals and transfers journals for site Engineering - monthly and for financial year end period and assist Projects Engineers & Managers in cost interrogation and reporting.

Project office admin to manage & improve the design office IS systems e.g. Works Support Database, Design Hours Database, Reservations Database, Enhancement. Raise and track purchase orders in Ariba and ensure adherence to purchasing guidelines. Liaise with stores re-delivery for materials and Complete Site Instruction design issues for Modifications and Construction work. Provide planning / scheduling support to the design office. Work with the project engineers to determine design hours and resources required for the definition / estimating and design stages of all project work. Utilize the resource levelling tools within Primavera to display the resources by discipline and enable best use / efficiency of the engineer and designer resources.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of SAP, MS Project / PRIMAVERA and Site Projects process site contracts process and contracts and projects cost management systems and site Projects process is essential
