Job Description

To be responsible for the delivery of Electrical project installations on time and within budget, whilst exceeding customer expectations
Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be responsible for the delivery of Electrical project installations on time and within budget, whilst exceeding customer expectations.
  • To oversee members of staff and sub-contractors on-site, including day to day support, continual training and to effectively resolve any issues that may arise.
  • To play an active part in progress meetings with key stakeholders and customers.
  • To ensure that any Electrical services systems are properly installed and commissioned.
  • Provide front end design & preconstruction management where required
  • To maintain a good, professional working relationship with customers, keeping them updated throughout the duration of the project.
  • Assist in client relationship development
  • Assist in the production and implementation of Risk Assessments and manage our delivery in harmony with our Integrated Management systems
  • To ensure that company Health & Safety policies and procedures are adhered to constantly, and enforce this where necessary.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Electrical engineering degree is desirable or have a background of serving time as an electrical apprentice. Hold a valid CSCS card. Experience in energy sector projects such as Solar PV farms, battery storage, Energy Centres, Private wire projects preferred. Experience and understanding in managing design and build projects. Proven track record of managing a team and successfully delivering electrical project installations. Prepare Contract Documents I.e. Method Statements, Risk Assessments, RFI’s, Technical Submissions, etc. Thorough understanding of M&E works and in- depth knowledge of the construction process. Prepare handover documents i.e. O&M Manuals and Record Drawings. Embrace and have experience of using off-site fabrication as a key project driver. Health and safety on site management. Must have previous experience of working within the construction industry. Full drivers license is essential. Zero defects attitude. Flexibility to travel, working between main office and site based. Positive ' can do ' attitude.
