Job Description

Our client is looking for a Fund Accountant to join the team and be responsible for contributing towards all financial accounting and control aspects of their investment portfolios.

The position will be liaising with multiple areas inside and outside of the organisation, from our own investment team through to the Custodian and Fund Managers.  Responsibilities will include the reconciliation and administration of investment portfolios on a daily basis, administer cash payment, review fund manager expenses and investigate and analyse daily performance reporting queries.

Their Ideal applicant will be a Qualified or Finalist Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with demonstrable experience gained working within an investment manager or investment bank environment, dealing with various investment types. Experience of investment accounting packages along with strong IT skills to develop models and reports is essential, along with strong analytical skills.
