My client are a growing Accountancy practice based in the West End who are seeking a Junior Accountant to join them on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for you to progress within a business and learn new skills, providing assistance for clients and liaising with them on a daily basis with queries they may have. I am seeking a hard working Accounts professional who has good attention to detail and has ideally worked within a practice environment previously.

Working as part of a team your role will involve -

• Looking after a portfolio of clients
• On boarding clients and setting up new accounts
• Liaising with clients via telephone, e-mail and post
• Processing PAYE and VAT returns
• Filing Annual Returns and assisting with end of year returns
• Processing of client payroll
• Bank and other reconciliations
• Filing ans general ad hoc administration
• Client management including filing and general administration of client companies
• Answer and field calls

Profile

• Intermediate Excel User
• Ideally experience of working within an Accountancy Practice environment
• Exposure to double entry bookkeeping
• Good communication skills and happy liaising with clients
• Ideally currently studying ACA or ACCA

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
